How to clean my leather shoes?

I bought the Lugz ZROCK shoes but I accidently got some black tire marks on the toe. The shoes are made out of leather. Is there a way to clean the shoes and remove the black marks?

4. try shaving cream...it will get them clean...or at Walmart they have a new shoe cleaner...it's like $3.00 and it has a brush on it... Rub some shaving cream on them and wipe dry try that first.
