How long until new shoes at Target are marked down for clearance?

I saw some great-looking shoes at Target, but I don't want to pay $40 right now for what I know is a rather low-quality pair of shoes. How much time do Target shoes stay at "new" prices before they're marked down for clearance sales?

1. If they aren't clearance already, they probably won't be going clearance. The department re-sets in a couple weeks. Everything that will go clearance, already is clearance.
